Cuddle Me Blanket Free Crochet Pattern



Keep your little one warm in this sweet blanket; it is fast and easy to crochet and will also be great for gifts and for photo props! Instructions include increase directions so you can make it in any size too! By using basic single crochet and double crochet stitches, you can create a cozy blanket that your little one can use for years. You should be able to make this in just a few sittings.


Materials:
H/8-5.0mm hook
Lion Brand Pound of Love Baby Yarn
100% Acrylic; weight 3
1 skein of color choice

Legend:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (sl st)
Skip (sk)
Slip Stitch (sl st)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Back Loop Only (blo)

Size is approx 30" x 50" and gauge 4 STS x 4 rows in SC = 1"

Notes:
1.      The blanket is made in back and forth rows.
2.      You can make the blanket larger or smaller by increasing or decreasing by the count of 3 from the main chain count and making it to the length desired.


Directions:
Chain 106.
Row 1: Turn, sc in second chain from hook and in each across (105 sts).
Row 2: Ch 1, turn; working in BACK LOOP ONLY throughout, * sc, dc 2, repeat from * across.
Repeat Row 2 To complete desired length of blanket. Finish off, weave in ends.

Edging: Join yarn in any stitch, * ch 6, sl st to next stitch, repeat from * until you reach a corner. In each corner (ch 6, sl st to corner, ch 6, sl st to corner), repeat from * until you reach next corner. To finish, sl st to the first stitch.

Finish off, weave in ends.
