Panel: Make 2
Chain 4.

Round 2: Ch 2, working in the back loop only, 2 dc in each st, sl st to the first dc to join. (18 sts)

Round 6: Ch 1, sc7, (2 sc, ch 1, 2 sc) in ch 1 space, sc 10, (2 sc, ch 1, 2 sc) in ch 1 space, repeat from * to last ch 1 space, sc 3, sl st to the first sc to join. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

With panels both right side out, start in any ch 1 in corner, working in the inside loop of stitches, SL ST the panels together. NOTE: when sl st, make sure the yarn is under the stitch as follows: Push hook through first stitch, move yarn under hook, insert yarn into second panel stitch, yarn over, pull through, repeat in each stitch until the 3rd side is complete. Don't want to sl st? Simply use a yarn needle and sew them together with using the inside stitches. Do not fasten off.

Mark 5 stitches in from each end of panel with a stitch marker. This will leave 5 stitches in center of each panel.

Trim and handles
Round 1: Working straight into the top trim, sc 5 (to the stitch marker), ch 20, skip 5 stitches, sc last 5 on panel, working on opposite side and on second panel, sc 5, ch 20, skip 5 stitches, sc last 5 on panel, sl st to the first sc to join round.
Round 2: Ch 1, sc 5, sc 25 in the chain space, sc 10, sc 25 in the chain space, sc 5, sl st to the first sc to join. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

See, I told you it would be easy to create this bag! Now, make another in a different color!
