Soft and Fluffy Blanket and Hat Set Free Crochet Pattern

Chain (ch)
Stitch (st)
Skip (sk)
Slip Stitch (sl st)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)

8 sts & 5 rows= 4” square in dc
1. The wrap is worked in one panel and then sewn together to finish.
2. Please check your gauge.
3. You can substitute the yarn for any worsted weight #4 as long as you match the gauge.
4. To increase or decrease, use the count of 10+1. (Example, chain 130, 140, 150, 160…etc +1 = 131, 141, 151, 161…etc)

Blanket: 17” x 14”
Hat: Height 5” Circumference: 12”

Round 1: 10 dc in first chain, sl st to the first dc stitch (not chains) to join (10 sts).
Round 2: Ch 2 (this does not count as a stitch), 2 dc in each stitch, sl st to the first dc stitch to join (20 sts).
Rounds 3 and 4: Ch 2, dc in each stitch (20 sts).
Rounds 5-6: Ch 1, sc in each stitch, sl st to the first stitch (not ch1) to join (20 sts).
Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Row 1: Sc in the first chain from hook and in each across (24 sts).
Row 2: Turn, Ch 3 (this counts as first dc here and throughout), skip 1 stitch, * 2 dc in next stitch, skip 1 stitch, repeat from * to end, dc in last stitch.
Rows 3-20: Turn, ch 3, 2 dc in the space between each 2 dc to end, dc in last stitch.
Row 21: Turn, ch 1, sc in each stitch. Fasten off. Weave in ends
