Color Blocks Knit Throw Red Heart Free KNIT Pattern

Add a modern vibe to your room with this dramatic throw. Twelve easy squares are knit and then sewn together. It’s perfect for living areas or bedrooms, in any colors that suit you.

I used Red Heart Soft for this throw and it was such a treat! I loved mixing and matching the colors and you can too! This pattern is for FREE here on Red Heart.

It is really easy! Seriously. If you have ever worked the Log-Cabin style pattern, this is very similar--just less color changes! AND you will only use the knit stitch. Ta-da! Told ya it was going to be easy.

This is a great project that you can take in the car, on a trip or just work on while watching tv. By using one stitch and an easy repeat block pattern---you're good to go! Have fun picking out your colors and making your 12 blocks!

Cozy No Seam Vest Red Heart Free Crochet Pattern

Have you ever looked at all of the pretty patterns and thought, "I wish I could make that, but it looks difficult"? Well, if so, this is the pattern for you. It is made in one rectangle and NO SEAMS! So fun to work up and even more fun to wear!

In this Cozy No Seam Vest crochet pattern on Red Heart, I used a fun shell stitch throughout and it adds a bit of movement to the vest. It is worked from side to side and then you'll add a border to the entire piece. See how it looks finished? And yes, it includes multiple sizes...yeah!
After I finished this sample for Red Heart, my 20 year old declared she was next! She wanted one, too! Isn't that what it's all about? Making something that will be used? I know I love a long heavy vest and I like from them to come right between my waist and knees...and the drape on this vest is awesome! I love it, too!

Like I said, if you're a beginner and you're unsure about seaming and making everything line up... look at the back of this--it truly is seamless and takes the worry out of crocheting!
Oh, this is so pretty.. can't help myself! I need to make another in grey...no-- in navy...no, black? Okay. All 3!

I Like Crochet April 2018: Beachside Bungalow Blanket

Dream of the beach as you crochet this beautiful blanket. It is made in join-as-you-go motifs so it’s a breeze to make for a lightweight throw. For a heavier blanket, back the finished piece with your favorite fabric.

I love this motif, not only because it is join-as-you-go but it's open and airy. I used a 3.75mm hook with Knit Picks Shine Worsted. This yarn is so amazing that I reordered more for upcoming projects!
